Homegrown Tomatoes & Eckert's CHOICE Peaches

A bountiful supply of Eckert's homegrown tomatoes and CHOICE peaches are now available in the Belleville Country Store.

While the midwest's peach crops were hit hard by the freeze in early April, Eckert's is fortunate to be able to offer a full supply of delicious peaches throughout the entire season. Eckert's CHOICE peaches are grown by independent farmers, that harvests Eckert's preferred varieties, in accordance to our own growing techniques. The Eckert family stands behind the CHOICE label, ensuring this fruit to be of the freshest and the highest quality.

Simple Summer Dishes

Summer gatherings should be casual and relaxing, appealling to friends and family of all ages. Select simple summer dishes that may be prepared ahead, keeping kitchen time to a minimum. To maximize flavor, take advantage of seasonal fruits and veggies. Fresh ingredients lend themselves to time-saving preparation and healthier choices. No one understands this more than Jill Eckert-Tantillo, with four kids and a crazy schedule, she has mastered deliciously simple dishes. Join her Thursday June 28th from 6 pm to 8 pm to learn all her secrets.

Mimosa Morning

Ladies, we welcome you to treat yourself on Saturday June 23rd from 8 am to 2 pm. Browse the Country Store's new summer collection, try tasty samples of fresh summer produce, breakfast strata, quiche, all while sipping on sweet, delicious mimosas. A representative from Mary Kay and Pampered Chef will be also be available, so take time out of your busy schedule to relax and enjoy this Saturday morning!

Dog Days of Summer

Calling all dog lovers! Eckert's is excited to announce our first ever Dog Days of Summer on Saturday June 16th from 8 am to 3 pm. Bring your four-legged friends to the farm to enjoy doggy swimming pools, photos of your pooch, and picnicking with your pet pals in the orchard.

The Belleville Area Humane Society will be on hand, providing microchipping for $20 and animal adoption. Training demos and information will be provided by the Belle-City Kennel Club, and Just Dogs! Gourmet will be present with the most delicious of doggy treats. Scheduled events include:

10 am Walk in the Orchard
11 am Belleville Police Department K-9 Unit Demonstration
12 pm Pet/Owner Look-a-Like Contest
1 pm Cutest Dog Contest
2 pm Frisbee Challenge

All four-legged friends will receive a FREE doggy cone from the Old Fashion Custard Shop. So pack up those pooches, for a fun day and the farm!!!

Stop by Eckert's Roadside Market every Saturday morning to find the freshest produce, signature items, and great buys! The Roadside Market is located outside the Country Store and will be open every Saturday from 9 am to noon.
