Old Country Store: Gone, But Not Forgotten

Although the new Country Store is completed and has been open to the public a month today, we are still under construction at Eckert's. Most of what we now call the "old Country Store" has been demolished so that the restaurant expansion can take place. We wanted to keep some of our history intact, so the original Country Store (built in 1927) remains and will be renovated as part of the expansion.

We are very sad to say goodbye to the old store. There have been many memories made in the building, not only by our own family, but for the many families that have came and visited our store over the last 100 years. Although it's hard to see the Country Store we know and love go, we are very excited to explore the new opportunites an expanded restaurant will afford us. This increase in space will double the restaurant's current seating capacity and will make way for us to highlight some new menu options!

The expanded restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-September, although an exact date has yet to be determined. The current restaurant is open daily and will function as usual throughout construction.

As always, we invite our guests to share any ideas and questions with us, and would love to hear your feedback on our new project. We hope to see you and your family soon, as we witness another big change in Eckert's history!
