O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

The Holiday Season is here! Thanksgiving is right around the corner and now it's time for holiday cheer, stringing lights, and decorating the tree! Stop by Eckert's Belleville or Millstadt farms to pick up the perfect tree this season. Our Christmas Tree Lot at the Belleville farm will open on November 20th and pre-cut trees will be available at that time. On November 26th the Christmas Tree Lots at both our Belleville and Millstadt farms will be open, cut-your-own trees and pre-cut trees will both be available. We have a wonderful selection of trees to choose from ranging from 6 to 11 feet tall! The tree types include Scotch, White Pine, Canaan Fir, Blue Spruce, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, and Fraser Fir. Our 40 acres of lush evergreen forests are a beautiful sight on a crisp winter day! For Cut-your-own trees, we provide the saw, and you supply the elbow grease! To make things a bit easier, our full service Christmas tree farm will provide free shaking and baling of your tree.

It used to be a Christmas tradition to make your own ornaments for the tree, and at one time apples, cookies, and nuts were even used as decoration. Today many ornaments are bought ready to go, but great and easy way to make your own beautiful decorations for your tree is to string popcorn and cranberries on a string or fishing line. While creating the perfect garland for your tree, it is a great opportunity to spend time with the whole family!
Happy Holidays from Eckert's!
